About

Mormons Anonymous is an anonymous community run by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The reason for the anonymity is because when talking about spiritual topics, most people do not want to express their innermost thoughts publicly to the world especially when they are deeply personal.

For example, if a member of the church has a problem with alcohol, pornography, or some other addiction which is of a sinful nature, they will not want to come forward publicly telling the world about their problem. They instead are more likely to hide the problem while they struggle on their own to overcome it without help.

Another example would be that when you read in the New Testament, Jesus told the people to give their alms in secret that the father may reward them openly. When people in the church do something good, they are typically quiet about their good works. The blessings that they receive when doing so are tremendous. However, they are prevented from sharing of these experiences because the do not want to take open credit and lose their eternal rewards.

This community is intended to be a resource for members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to publicly make known to the world information that they hold sacred. This may include:

1. The gospel teachings.
2. Challenges and struggles they have with the commandments.
3. Inner feelings that they feel as members of this church.
4. Anything else they wish to share to the world about the gospel.

It is not a place to:
1. Discuss politics - except when the church leaders are involved.
2. Teach doctrines contrary to the official teachings of the church.
3. Do web advertising or spam of any sort.
4. Raise money for personal gain.

Thank you for participating in this community.
